Who is Charlie?

Who is Charlie and what is his horse doing in my leg?!?!? That's right, one of the dreaded symptoms of pregnancy showed up in the middle of the night last night. I woke up literally screaming in pain from a nasty Charlie Horse. If my reaction to that pain was any indication of how I will handle labor, we're in for a long haul!

Sorry I've taken so long to write. I sat down to write many times but no words came out. But alas, here I am...

Bethany, Tom, and I have been doing well. We can now watch my stomach and see her move. Last doctor's visit 2 and a half weeks ago she was 1.9 pounds. She's getting bigger for sure! We had a scare a few weeks ago when an ultrasound showed a cyst. I volunteered to be a patient for the sonography school finals at our local community collge and when the professor did her check she saw the cyst and printed a picture off for me to take to my doctor. Fortunately my doctor said it is nothing to worry about and it should go away on it's own. The cyst is not attached to the baby or to the placenta so all is good. Praise God for that!!

Tom and I took a vacation last week to Savannah, GA and had a great time! I even climbed the 175 steps to the top of the Tybee Island Lighthouse! I was very proud of Bethany and I for making it! It was a great time to relax and enjoy our last vacation without children.

The nursery continues to see progress- we got the changing table this week so I was able to put away some of her clothes. This weekend we hope to put up a few more things on the wall. So pretty soon, all we'll have left to do is wait!

Here are the latest pics:

Here we are at the Juliette Gordon Low House. She was the founder of girl scouts:

There's me at the Tybee Island Lighthouse Keeper's house:

In this picture, Bethany s grabbing her foot:

This is the alien face, I mean Bethany's face. Her brain would be on the left side, then the big ol eyes and so on. Looks scary doesn't it:

This is one of my favorites. Her sweet hand:

Her legs:

Thie is her facial profile:

She's adorable isn't she??

I love my granddaughter! And as far as the tolerance to pain, what did your father tell you lo' many years ago about what would happen when you had a baby? Huh? Exactly... and I'm going to be a glutton for punishment and hopefully be there to experience the sounds of labor pains! But I wouldn't miss it for the world! I love all three of you!
