He is Risen Indeed

I hope you all had as wonderful of an Easter as we did. We had a great time worshiping at WUMC in the morning and then a great time with family in the afternoon. I continue to bask in the joy of the risen Lord as we enjoy the outdoors and spring! : )

We spend much of our days outside, saying "hi" to roly polies, blowing bubbles, using sidewalk chalk, sliding, splashing, listening to birds, pointing at planes, laughing, and enjoying life. What a wonderful life it is!

Next Saturday is our appointment with our adoption worker! To say I am excited would be an understatement! I need her to answer a few questions and then I think we'll be ready to dive in. I've read ALOT so I am hoping there will be no surprises in what she has to say. I am hoping for confirmation of what I already know. I am hoping that next weekend, we can fully share our hearts and our path with you. There's a lot of hope going on isn't there?

We continue to search for a house. We are looking at another one today. Maybe it'll be the one.... I continue to believe that house hunting is so much like the dating/finding a spouse adventure. Only less emotional and less consequential to life. But I digress.... Our house appointment (date) is exciting this time. It seems like such a great house. The pictures look great and it's in the neighborhood we like. But much like going on a date, I am very skeptical. Because I've looked at hundreds of houses and so far, none of them have been "the one". I don't like to get my hopes up too much any more. Okay, who am I kidding?!?! I really hope this is the one. Updates to come!

We're headed out this morning (after teething, grumpy girl wakes up from her nap), to have lunch with Tom's parents, aunt, uncle, and cousing at Pier Park. Poor Tom is at work and will miss the fun but he'll get to have dinner with us tonight.

Have a great day all!
