Happy 5th Birthday Caleb!!!
- You are 42 inches and 38 pounds
- You finished preK and will be starting Kindergarten in one month.
- You can count to 100, say your ABCs, know all your shapes, and colors, and spell and read on a first grade level.
- You continue to love computers and the Ipad- you say you want to use the computer to be funny as your job when you grow up.
- You like playing with your sister, going swimming, going outside, reading books, playing Uno, and playing dress up.
- You like Transformers, Mickey Mouse, Curious George, and Frozen.
- Your favorite foods are cereal, spaghetti, PBJ, bananas, and M & Ms. You like to drink water, fruit punch, or chocolate milk.
- You love to make people laugh, do silly faces, and act goofy.
- You are in gymnastics and just started soccer one day a week also.
- You love to be tickled.
- You took swim lessons and are just starting to swim on your own.
- You like for your room to be clean and you love looking at the calendar each day to see what we are doing for the day.
- You thrive on routine.
- You loved Awana at church this year and also had fun at VBS this summer.
- You can say so many words now that I could never list them all. You also say quite a few sentences and ask questions. The more you can talk, the funnier you get! :)
- You are polite and almost always remember to say please and thank you.
- You wake up at 5am and play Ipad and eat cereal until 5:45 when you come and wake Mom and Dad up for the day. You don't take a nap anymore but you do have a rest time. You are usually in bed by 7/7:30pm. You're a great sleeper!
- Your best friends at school were Sophia, Zoe, and Lilly
- You love to have a notebook and pen with you so you can write words you already know and record new words that you learn. It's amazing to watch you use the notebook as a way to learn and communicate.
- You are able to point to Ch*na on a map and can tell us that you flew on a plane with Mom and Dad and then show us where we live now.
- You had surgery this year to repair a hole in your ear drum. You couldn't get your head wet or run, jump, go on playgrounds for 3 1/2 months. You also had to take a month off of school. The good news is that the surgery worked and you now have a functioning ear drum!!
- This whole year you told people you are 5 years old. Now you are finally 5! But when I asked you last night how old you were going to be tomorrow you said, "6!!!!" Silly boy!
