Happy 12th Birthday Bethany!!



  • You are inches tall.
  • You finished the 6th grade- your first year of middle school and you managed all As! You had a really great year and had many of the same friends and made lots of new ones too!
  • You went to the Valentine's dance at school this year. 
  • You played soccer in the fall and then in the spring you took tumbling and gymnastics classes.
  • You joined the middle school band and play the french horn. Our 6th grade daily phrase became "You should have picked a smaller instrument." You definitely have a natural gift for music and we're excited to see you learn and grow as a musician.
  • You want to be a rocket scientist (aeronautical engineer) when you grow up, although there's also a building interest in environmental engineering as well.

  • You were inducted into Jr. Beta club and into the Pre-Sail (pre-AP) program at school. You also were selected as an officer for the middle school Fellowship of Christian Athletes. 
  • You love to be outside- swimming, biking, riding your scooter, and this year you discovered geocaching!
  • You love legos and crafts and building things on Roblox and Minecraft.
  • You finished reading all the Harry Potter Books this year.
  • You got to learn how to sew with Nana this summer and made a pillow.
  • Our area still continues to recover from Hurricane Michael (Oct. 2018) but our home is pretty much all fixed up. The only thing we have left is to get new windows and blinds. One of our  church campuses (formerly Fusion) is repaired and complete which is very exciting!
  • Unfortunately, the world is experiencing the pandemic (COVID-19). We left for spring break and never went back to in person school. We're hopeful it will go away soon!! We did get to visit Uncle George, Gramma and Grampa at a state park near Gainesville for a social distanced visit this summer and saw the Lebedevs at Nana and Grandaddys house while standing in the yard. What a weird situation we're in!
  • You are a night owl and have loved sleeping in these past 5 months!
  • Your favorite TV show is Madame Secretary.
  • Your favorite foods are watermelon, chick fil a, and pizza.
  • This year we went to Lakeland, Kennedy Space Center, Jacksonville, and Georgia. 









  • You are just a joy to have in our lives. You are sweet but also feisty! You are strong, athletic, intelligent, creative, kind, and a loyal friend! You are sensitive, responsible, and compassionate and you love the Lord. You truly are a bright light in the world and we're so thankful to have you in our lives! Happy birthday sweet Bethy Grace!

We knew all weeked that the new list was coming out on Monday night. I got more and more nervous as we got closer. By Tuesday morning, I was popping the pepto bismal chewables-heartburn which I have only had one other time (at the end of my pregnancy). There was no guarantee we would even receive a referral off the list, but we were hopeful. Tuesday morning I took Bethany to church for mother's morning out, nervously bought soap and 75% of Valentine's conversaion hearts at Target, and then I went to Panera and got a fruit punch. Happy 16th Birthday Caleb!!

Happy 16th Birthday Caleb!! You are close to 5'5" and still growing. You finished 10th grade, and continued to rock it, excelling in a very challenging set of classes! You passed three more AP classes and several dual enrollment courses as well.  You were in the SAIL (AP Program), AP Capstone Club, Mu Alpha Theta (Math honor society), ASL Honor Society, Science National Honor Society, Beta Club, and marching band. You placed third in the state for the Beta Convention Math Competition. You started a countywide club called BAM (Bay Area Mathematicians).  You are in your 11th year of playing piano and were accepted into the University of Florida International Piano Festival with partial scholarship and the FSU Piano Institute. You chose FSU for the third year. You were part of a masterclass with the Gulf Coast College Professors. You were chosen to perform at the Bay Education Foundation Arts Alive fundraiser dinner.  You were selected as the pianist for the all county band ...

Happy 17th Birthday Bethany!

  Happy 17th Birthday Bethany!!! You are about 5'2" but really you're like 5'1.5"! Small but mighty! You finished your junior year of high school and are entering your SENIOR YEAR!!! You had a very challenging academic course load but you soared and earned your AP Capstone diploma. You were part of a lot of clubs including one that you started called Kards for Kids that makes cards for kids in the hospital. You are also part of the SAIL program, AP Capstone, Mu Alpha Theta, Tri M, Science National Honor Society, National Honor Society, ASL Honor Society, and Next Gen. You were section leader this year for band and had a solo in the marching show. You earned a superior at district and state solo and ensemble and another superior for a duet at district solo ensemble. You made 2nd chair all county.  You continued to be a part of the Teen Outreach Committee with St. Andrew Bay Estuary. You were selected as one of your school's two nominees for Sunshine State Schol...
