Orientation and Sightseeing

Good Morning Everyone- it's actually night here in Beijing. But for you, it's morning. We had our orientation with our agency this morning. We received updated pictures and information about Mister Caleb. He's as cute as ever and we were happy to learn that his daily schedule almost exactly matches Miss Bethy's! So, if we can shift him into Central time with that same schedule, we'll be great! We found out that Caleb will be in the orphanage again tomorrow and will be traveling during the night to meet us. Long and tiring trip for him.

Thanks for your prayers by the way... We just got done skyping with Bethany and I am sending this blog post from our own laptop in our room. Our problem is fixed! Still no facebook and I can only post blogs from email, but we'll take it!

After our agency orientation we went out to lunch and then headed to Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City. It is huge and grand and FULL of people. It was neat to learn some of the history and to take a tour. I was a bit overwhelmed by the number of people, but that's part of China and that's what we're here to experience. We took a quick stop to see how silk is made and then headed back to the hotel. We picked up meatball subs from Subway but the meat looked different and I decided to pass on that for today. The oatmeal raisin cookies were good though!

Tomorrow we head out on the train to Caleb's province.

I am having trouble uploading pics- I'll work on it in the morning.

It's SO close now!! Not too much longer and you'll get to hold him in your arms!! It's so hard to believe the day is almost here!!
We will continue to pray for Caleb's adjustment to so many new experiences. We are also glad that that it is now down to mere hours :) Love, The Polischuck's
